On the following day, Bernie also led a surface tour and field traverse of the abandoned Geco VHMS Cu-Zn mine at Manitouwadge, ~50 km north of Hemlo. The Manitouwadge deposits, like Hemlo, are hosted within the Schreiber-Hemlo greenstone belt.     Photographs by Mike Porter
