Mount Fort Constantine - en route from the Ernest Henry mine, Dr Pat Williams of James Cook University took the group to the isolated exposure of altered and magnetite mineralised volcanics 8 km west of Ernest Henry. These volcanics are believed to be the same unit that hosts the ore deposit at Ernest Henry and are the closest exposure to the mine.
