On the Great Wall of China:   En-route from Lanzhou to Jinchang, the group crossed the ruins of the Great Wall of China - a section that was originally largely constructed from mud bricks which have since degraded.   Left:   The ruins of the Wall - note the remains of a watch tower in the distance to the left,   Right:  Vanessa Beach (Inco, Canada), Phil Baker (Rio Tinto, Australia) and Taka Murakami and Taro Yajima (Jogmec, Japan) pose on the wall.
