Boarding the tour charter prop-jet Metro 23 for the final flight back to Perth.   Electrical storms on the evening of Saturday 19th November had precluded the group returning to Perth that night as planned.   This meant they had to spend the night at the Telfer Village and depart at first light next morning, Sunday 20th.   The possibility of weather delays in Telfer (located on the tropic of Capricorn; at the beginning of the "wet season") had been one of the reasons for it being the final stop on the tour.   The 1500 km, 3 hour flight was punctuated by a fuel stop at Meekatharra.
