Sue Daly (seated on right) of PIRSA MInerals had previously spoken on the "Geologic and Metallogenic History of the Gawler Craton", while Alan Mauger, also of PIRSA Minerals (seated on far left-front) later spoke on the "Spectral Signature of IOCG-type Mineralisation in the Gawler Craton and Curnamona Inlier". Ian Sandl of Teck Cominco subsequently described the significant new Carrapateena IOCG prospect, 100 km SE of Olympic Dam, discovered with an intersection of 178.2 m @ 1.83% Cu, 0.64 g/t Au (including 67 m @ 3.03% Cu, 0.4 g/t Au).
