A day at Salobo.   Following a comprehensive expert briefing on the Salobo deposit and its setting, delivered by Marcio Sales of CVRD to the IOCG 07 Tour Group and a university group from Rio de Janeiro, whose visit was scheduled to coincide, the group devoted much of the remainder of the day with CVRD staff studying three carefully chosen, long, characteristic drill holes through the Salobo deposit.   Before returning to Carajas in the late afternoon the group spent time on the stockpiles of the different ore types from the now flooded underground test workings.
