In the Mantos Blancos Pit.    Following a comprehensive briefing by Mantos Blancos acting chief geologist César Ulloa covering the setting, geology, alteration and mineralisation of the Mantos Blancos deposits, the group was taken into the open pit by senior geologist Regina Toloza (pictured above) to study the oxide zone of the deposit, then to the sulphide stockpile to study the alteration and mineralisation styles.   The background image shows part of the Mantos Blancos composite pit.
