At the Ban Houayxai gold project  -  After lunch, the group was given a briefing on the Ban Houayxai gold deposit, one of the number of prospects within the larger Phu Bia gold-copper project.  The briefing was conducted in the well appointed, functional Ban Houayxai camp (left image).  This was followed by a core display and discussion session over selected holes from the prospect (centre image), before going into the field with Phu Bia Mining staff (right image - from the left: Obert Tan, Genesion Circosta and Ben Tucker, with Dan Power of Newmont, Australia).  The background image is sunset over the mountains behind Ban Houayxai.
