In the Muruntau Pit.  The tour group were allowed to spend as much of the day of Friday 15 September as they wished studying and discussing the ore, hosts, alteration and structure of the Muruntau deposit.   The group was accompanied by senior mine geologists Arslan Korshanov (left on bottom right image) and by senior geologist Alexander Morozov (right in bottom right image) who hosted the visit, provided explanations and answered questions.
