Grasberg and Ertsberg drill core in Timika.   During each of the presentations delivered on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st October, a new suite of drill holes was being laid out for the group to inspect when the presentation was complete.   The group was then able to go through the core at their leisure and discuss what they saw among themselves and with the expert PT Freeport Indonesia staff geologists available.   The core laid out was drawn from the vast collection of drill core from all of the PT Freeport Indonesia mine and exploration drilling in West Papua that is stored and carefully curated in the company's Timika core and sample facility.
