In the late afternoon, the group was driven to Copiapo airport for a commercial airline flight to La Serena. The charter bus that had been utilised since Antofagasta at the start of the module, then returned to its origin and a new bus met the group on arrival in La Serena that night to transport them to their overnight accommodation.
