Presentation at Prominent Hill - Following a 140 km bus ride from Coober Pedy and an initial introduction in the core yard, the group was given a comprehensive PowerPoint illustrated presentation in the project camp by Hamish Freeman of Oxiana Limited on the setting, geology, alteration and mineralisation at the Prominent Hill deposit.
Prominent Hill lies on the margin the Mount Woods Inlier, a metamorphic core complex on the eastern edge of the Gawler Craton, ~150 km northwest of Olympic Dam. The deposits is entirely concealed by younger cover.
