Drill core at Prominent Hill - Following lunch the group was shown a comprensive selection of drill core from the Prominent Hill deposit.
Late in the afternoon they then returned to Coober Pedy airport by bus for the two and a quarter hour flight to Cloncurry (1200 km to the NNE) on the tour's two chartered aircraft.
