Kalgoorlie core.   From the Super Pit, the group transferred to the core facility where they had a quick lunch before being taken through the core from a drill hole that cut through all of main the lithologies, alteration and ore types represented in the Golden Mile ore complex.   Following the core display they were taken back to the training centre where two members of the group provided presentations for the benefit of the KCGM mine and exploration staff.   Subsequently, David Nixon produced another suite of rocks illustrating the geology of the deposit, before finally leaving in the late afternoon.
