Field workshop, Bor District, Serbia.   On Saturday 27 September, the group was given a field workshop in the Bor District by Dejan Kozelj.   This involved first visiting the now dormant satellite Cerova Cementacija 1 open pit (central image) and a study of the remaining mineralisation, hosts and alteration below the zone of oxidation and supergene enrichment in that pit (lower right image).   Next, the oxidised, leached, surface exposure of the un-mined Cerova Cementacija 2 deposit was inspected at a number of locations across the deposit (left image), before studying aspects of the regional host sequence of the district and lateral surface indicators of alteration and mineralisation.
