Quadrilátero Ferrífero Geological Briefing   Professor Eduardo Ladeira, renowned expert on the Quadrilátero Ferrífero and now a geological consultant, provided an comprehensive expert briefing on the geology and gold deposits of the Quadrilátero Ferrífero of Minas Gerais as a prelude to the visits to the Morro Velho Complex and São Bento mines over the next two days.

The group had departed Brasilia early that morning and flown to Belo Horizonte to check in at their hotel by the late morning. After an early lunch they were joined by Professor Ladeira who provided the briefing that lasted until the early evening.
