The Murrin Murrin mine and plant. On the fourth day of the module, the group departed Kalgoorlie early by air charter to fly to the Murrin Murrin lateritic nickel operation for a detailed visit. In the early afternoon, they departed to fly on to Leinster where they were given a comprehensive presentation by WMC Resources staff on the geology of the Leinster deposits, before giving reciprocal talks on nickel deposits elsewhere in the world with which the tour participants had expert knowledge. The group spent the night in Leinster.
