Overlooking the pit at Antamina

With Minera Antamina staff in the Antamina core shed   -   After a barbeque with all of the geology staff at the core shed, the group studied an extensive core display.

The visit had ended by 2:40 pm, and the group boarded the three tour vehicles and passed through the mine gate by 2:45 pm to retrace their steps back to Huaraz, arriving at their hotel at 5:55 pm, followed by a final dinner later in the evening.
