At the Erdenet copper deposit in northern Mongolia   -   members of the tour group discuss the deposit and its surrounds with Erdenet Mining Corp. staff before going down into the pit to study the ore, alteration and host rocks.

The group had assembled in Ulaanbaatar on the evening of Fridy 23rd April for an introductory meeting before overnighting and departing Ulaanbaatar at 6:15 am next morning in 4WD hire vehicles to arrive at Erdernet by 11:15 am.
