Wannaway was a komatiite hosted massive sulphide Fe-Ni-Cu deposit on the flanks of the Widgiemooltha Dome west of Kambalda in Western Australia. Reserves in 1981 were 4.5 Mt @ 1.22% Ni, 0.1% Cu including 1.4 Mt @ 3.1% Ni, at a 2% Ni cut-off.
