The Bor metallogenic district of Serbia incorporates a series of large high and low grade porphyry and high sulphidation copper-gold deposits in the Balkan section of the Tethyan Belt. The most significant of these are the Bor, Majdanpek and Veliki Krivelj deposits.

These deposits were the subject of one of the papers delivered at an international conference in Perth in late 1998, and printed in the associated volume: Porter T M (Ed.) "Porphyry and Hydrothermal Copper and Gold Deposits: A Global Perspective", now available through PGC Publishing, Adelaide, Australia.

The same deposits were the subject of one of the papers contained in the new PGC Publication: Porter T M (Ed.) "Super Porphyry Copper and Gold Deposits: A Global Perspective", available through PGC Publishing, Adelaide, Australia.

The full abstract summarising the deposit, and the reference list from the paper can be displayed by selecting options offered below.
